OK Feb 14, 2009 Yes, it stops the door. No, it doesn't hurt too much when I kick it. No, my cats haven't figured out how to move it, although this is only a matter of time.
It's awkwardly large, though. And since you're spending a boatload more than you need to in order to have something that looks nice, that's a big deal

Too Bad! Mar 11, 2008 I was so excited when I saw these door stops because anything I had used before did not hold our office doors open. When I received them in the mail, and felt how heavy they were, I thought for sure they would work!
Unfortunately, they did not hold the door open without another rubber stopper stuck under the door, so now I have to use both.
Great Design And Function! Jan 13, 2008 This is a great product. Stylish and works perfectly. Solid, heavy unit that is flexible room to room, requiring no drilling into your baseboards or floors.

Stops doors, looks cool. Dec 07, 2007 This is the Cadillac of door stops. It's able to hold back a pretty heavy sping-loaded door when sitting on a concrete or hard wood floor. It looks great. Much better than the can of paint it replaced!
Beautifully made and stylish Nov 14, 2007 I have one in every room in the house, they're great, weighty, stylish, stainless steel wonderfulness, well worth the price and most of all they are made in Germany, not some cheap, tacky Chinese knock off.
